The Cig-Arrête SD Evolution Weatherproof Flame Detector is designed to detect a 25 mm (1 inch) flame at a distance of 6 metres (7 yards) within 1 second and provide a voice message in alarm. The product is designed to be installed outdoors and is carries an IP65 rating. The FDW has proved successful in areas where smoke and gas detection is impractical such as entrances and canopies subject to weathering.
